| 15.05.09 | Isabel de Sena | United States | 59 | Everyone should have the right to be with or marry whoever they want, regardless of color, class, religion, or political opinions. Sex is just another such category. It's about time we stopped policing what happens in people's bedrooms. Let's pay attention to real problems like: hundreds of thousands of unemployed people, hundreds of thousands of children without a home and without access to regular education, hundreds of thousands of people wihtout health insurance, hundreds of thousands of foreclosures and still no end in sight, hundreds of thousands of young men and women risking their lives in foreign wars we don't need, emissions that drill holes into the ozone, the ice caps north and south melting at an alarming rate due to global warming causing the sea level to rise and wreaking havoc with ecological balance. These are important issues. The rest is a diversion. |

We may not survive if we don't work together more effectively to solve the problems of overpopulation and reduced resources for all of us. Sexual Rights should be a given so we can use our energy to end war and ignorance and poverty. |

| 15.05.09 | Mike Scott | United States | 57 | Education and contraceptives must be available to every girl and woman on the planet. Overpopulation is the cause of global warming, deforestation, fishless oceans, mass species extinction, vanishing farm and wetlands, declining quality of life. Things will not magically improve when today's 308 million US, 6.8 billion worldwide become in a few short decades half a billion and 8 and 9 billion. |

| 14.05.09 | anonymous | Ghana | 47 | Yes,the fight for sexual & rproductive health rights for young people hould infact be fought by adults and not by the young people as it is the case sometimes. this iss because a lot of adults are having reproductive health challenges in their lives today because nobody fouht for them. As a SRH worker, lam concerned and overwhelmed by the number of SRH abuses going on in communities whiles governments are far removed from these problems, yet they keep on trampeting over roofs top that they are fighting for the people to live happily. Guess who are these people and what they are interested doing?. The benefiaciaries however, are the their poitical party members and what they are interested in providing are the construction of toilet facilities and evacuation of gabbage because those are the areas they can easily make their billions, yet we are engulfed by filt everyday and young people suffer all kinds of deprivation, the major ones are sexual & Reproductive health imformation and Services and their associated Rights.
However, Ghana will not tolerate any homosexuality and lesbianism as right to fight for so dont go there. |
